I think George Burns said: sincerity is everything; if you can fake that you've got it made. Funnily enough, yesterday I drafted an outline for an article provisionally called On the Job BS.

Pray for those that hurt you. It's hard to do but is the solution to bitterness and resentment. Thank-you.

I will have you know I drink more than 2L of water every day! (Thank you, SSRIs)

One I practice is moving my body every day. Sometimes it’s for ten minutes, sometimes it’s for an hour. But it makes me feel my best.

Great list, I would add listen to good music every day. It doth sooth the savage beast in us.

Enjoyed this morning the thoughts you post here. I remember reading your list, I think in Notes. But I enjoyed the thoughts behind it and shared it to my Facebook page because I believe in these things as well. Even reading the first one or two it was giving me thoughts as to something I needed to write about for my followers and the artists that I write for.

Thanks for this! Some fantastic tidbits to living a physically and emotionally healthier and more serene life. One of the biggest for me has been letting go of resentments. Whether they’re “justified” or not makes no difference as I’m the one being negatively impacted when I hold onto them.

Little typo: last paragraph should be break not bread

Great post - great list! And hydration is essential - my weekday ritual: two cups of very strong coffee in the morning before getting into the car, followed by about four mugs of black tea (exclusively Darjeeling - I've tried every type there is and it is the only one for me, and I let it steep until it's as black as it can be), complimented by as much water as I can consume. I learned long ago that the body works best when it's well-lubricated with water ... and right now, leaning towards the wrong end of my 50s, I don't intend to get rusty!
