Is it really inertia when you've been dealing with both illness and a heavy workload? If you're anything like me, you might not be cutting yourself enough slack. I've been waylaid myself in past months, and I'm still working on this business of accepting the fact that I'm a human... not a robot.

The eclipse was actual magic. That feeling of giddiness when it was happening! I totally want to see another one.

Welcome back Mark! I’ve always been blessed with / struggled with inertia. When things are going the way I’d like and I’m in a groove, I love the inertia as it can really help me to stay going. But when I’m not moving forward and have been stopped or ‘stuck’ for too long that’s when the inertia really gets in the way, keeping me stopped and it becomes a problem. I’m sorry to hear of your health issues and glad they’re now resolved. Looking forward to seeing your writing again!

It’s absolutely okay to step back and take a break to fill the well and take care of yourself. Good to see you back but don’t feel pressure. We are here and will remain here.
