Nice to hear Lee and see him surface. It's wonderful that anyone can survive. let alone thrive, in the arts. It would be a sad, dark world without our artists.

Loved this interview Mark! Lee had great answers mixed with a sense of humor. Interesting how practicing one's creative skill daily via journaling really builds momentum over time. Thanks!

I loved Lee's answer to the last question (Imagine you wake up one morning and the Internet...) much more than any that I read before. Great!

I'm not a writer, but love reading about writers, and this interview did not disappoint! Thank you both for this! :)

Such a great interview - thank you, Mark and Lee! I love reading writers' accounts of their 'journey', for want of a better expression.

I loved this: "...it’s as much an act of discovery for me as it is for the reader... For me, that discovery is what compels me to write (or create anything, for that matter)." YES!

And this: "Writing is like any developed skill: you start off a little lost..." I know of course that this is a metaphor, Lee, but given that I get seem to get GEOGRAPHICALLY lost any time I step out of the front door it really made me chuckle! 🤣

I really enjoyed this post - and again I've learned so much. Thank you, both of you.
