Excellent interview with an intriguing writer. Jillian’s note-taking insight and her deep dives into the lives of unexpected notetakers is one of the reading highlights of my week--it’s given me a new way to view my own notebooks, as well as those of my writer-artist family.
I have you to thank, Mark, for recommending her newsletter a while back.
I love you both! You've added so much to my life (which is feeling more & more limited (despite a 'post' pandemic world). Thank you for the reflective, inspirational exchange. Substack and How About This have become my 'go to' for uplifting company!
I already follow Jillian’s Substack, but I loved getting to know her more. In fact, I’m sure if I lived in NYC she’d be near the top of my list of people to have coffee with. Of course, Anne Kadet would be first, but everyone understands that. 😂
Great interview! It's always nice to learn about a new person that I don't know about. It's too bad about cursive handwriting. You should see what mine looks like now. I think the only time I ever use it is when I have to sign checks. For all those students hunting and pecking, they need to take a typing class.

A great interview with one of my favourite Stackers - thanks, Mark and Jillian! 😃
