SOME NEW THINGS
Thanks to all new subscribers who have joined up since last week! Also shout out to long time friend H. Saunders, who is our first TOP H.A.T.T.E.R.!
It’s the 22nd edition of the link posts at How About This. Please find attached 22 neutrinos for your enjoyment (they are here… well, they were anyway).
The winner of the Leuchtuurm1917 notebook is Vanya! Congratulations Vanya! A team of Canadian geese is being hitched to the sleigh to speed the notebook over to you!
As I have been suggesting for the past week I did, in fact, disable my Twitter account. It’s a weird transition, being off after 15 years. Weird, weird, weird.
Substack has just launched a new Chat feature. I’m unable to participate in this until an Android version is released but I shall watch from afar with interest!
Also, if you publish your own Substack newsletter and you are enjoying How About This, please consider creating a Substack Recommendation for this newsletter as 37 other newsletter publishers have done. Thank you!
OVER THERE (found elsewhere)
This week I’m going to suggest that you check out my Recommendations page to check out the Substack newsletters that I have recommended - great list to peruse.
Soaring Twenties Social Club links:
Omnibus #39 - the usual weekly round up, a great diversity of writers and creators working here.
Symposium #6 - this month’s theme was work, talked about (and not talked about) in delightful ways. I wrote some haikus for my submission (note: I am not a poet!)
BACK HERE (the past week’s posts)
Monday featured my interview with Leisha Toory
Tuesday featured my interview with Brian Reindel
Wednesday featured a discussion about the social media outposts that we create (or disable, as the case may be)
Thursday was my month 6 round up post: six months of publishing How About This!

RELEASE
Time to release the H.A.T. Scouts for another week! And remember, it’s always better to be a H.A.T.T.E.R. than a hater.
Great post Mark. I like your weekly summations, because life does get busy. 😉 Not sure how I feel about the new chat feature and like you, I'm waiting for the android version.
Another great post, Mark. And wooo, congratulations Vanya! I'm not diving into the new chat feature, but I was interested (and surprised) to see that that's the way Substack is going.
